One of my favorites!

I love all the items I make, otherwise I wouldn't make them. But every now and again I make something that I completely adore because it's so cool and fun. This neckwarmer is one of those items. If you haven't had a chance to see it in my Etsy shop, here it is.

Not only is it a great color, but it has such wonderful texture and it's amazingly warm.

I don't know about you, but the one place that makes me what to cry when it's cold is my neck! I wear turtlenecks for most of the Winter because of that feeling. However, now I'm thinking, I don't need to wear only turtlenecks. I can wear other tops and use this neckwarmer, as well as some of the others I've made, to keep stylish and warm.

No more tears this Winter!!!

Ta Da!!!

Remember when I posted this photo and asked you to guess what it might be? I suppose it wasn't fair that the item was totally crumpled in my lap and I gave no clues. But then again, it wasn't a contest . . . maybe I should have one of those . . . but I digress. This is what that project became. A Keyhole Neckwarmer that is so warm I had to rush it off when modeling it in this summer heat! But don't look for it in my Etsy Shop, because it won't be there. It will only be available at OAK in Boston and by special order!!!

On August 23rd I'll be driving some lovely yarny goodness to OAK to be sold on consignment! Prior to delivering them, I hope to photograph and showcase them all here so you can see that I've not been slacking in my yarn work. I'm really excited because having "Yarn Obsession" in a shop makes it more "official". It's a great feeling to be moving toward a goal!

Can someone stop the clock. . . please

I can't believe how fast days fly by. Everyday there is so much to fill the time that it's easy to look up and find that a week or two have passed and some things have fallen through the cracks. On the one hand, I'm happy to say, I've been somewhat busy, on the other hand, I haven't been posting as I'd like. . . What's a girl to do?

If it helps, here are a few projects completed within the last few weeks that have now found themselves part of my inventory.
