FO's

Spring is almost here so I've been thinking about inventory for the coming warm months. I came up with these sets for the spring, but summer eludes me in a way. No one wears gloves in the summer. . . maybe hats, and light scarves, but what to make? Anyway, I've decided not to stress myself too much about it and make any item that comes to mind. After all, it's Fall Down Under and they're looking for Winter wear!

These two sets can be found in my Etsy Shop right now! It's a great deal to purchase a set of items because you get an ensemble for coordinating.

The pink set is made of fluffy, super soft acrylic and nylon yarn. The Neckwarmer has two vintage buttons and hooks on the end for easy adjustment as needed. The wristwarmers are just feather light and soft!

The yellow set is made from baby acrylic yarn with specks of color. They are perfect for Spring and Summer because the yarn is lightweight and perfect for warmer weather. Whichever set you choose, you'll fall in love!

Knit / Crochet Sets!!

Sets! Aren't they just lovely? Some of my items were looking a bit lonely as single items so this past weekend, I went through my inventory and decided to create sets! It wasn't hard, all I did was find the complimentary items made in the same yarn and voila!

Not only are sets a better option for my customers, but they save me space and time as well. I know that not everything can be a set, but the ones I've selected are perfect and will soon be available at my Etsy Shop! Now you get a better deal by purchasing two items and getting a double bang for your buck. . . my small way to help stimulate the economy!

Sets?

This holiday season I got a request from my cousin to make a gift set for her friend. A set? You'd think it was something I'd thought of doing before, but I hadn't. I'd gotten so compartmentalized with my items it never occurred to me to make sets. I was happy to do it. She told me the color, I picked the button and I was off. Once I completed this set, I realized, I'd like to do more sets.

For the new year, I'm putting together various sets in an effort to give more value to my shop offerings. A hat is great, but with a scarf it's of more value. A neckwarmer is nice, but with a pair of wristwarmers, it's unique and valuable. So as you watch my shop and this blog in 2009, look for sets. They'll begin cropping up soon.

You'd think it was so obvious I should have started last year??? Sometimes, it's just to close to your face to be seen.
